St. Louis is where a national campaign goes when it needs to look like America rather than a coastline. Brick neighbourhoods, river and rail, the Arch and the downtown skyline, and small-town main streets half an hour out of the city – and a crew base that costs meaningfully less per day than New York or Los Angeles. Central time helps as well: a St. Louis shoot can file to editors on either coast inside the same working day.

Crew and logistics

We book DPs, gaffers, grips, sound, art and production support from a standing St. Louis crew list. Our producers handle city and county permitting, location scouting, casting, and the logistics of working both sides of the river when a location calls for it.

Gear that travels

Our package is our own rather than sub-rented, and it ships: cameras from ARRI, RED and Sony, prime and zoom lenses from Angenieux, ARRI, Cooke, Canon and Sigma, and lighting and grip from ARRI, Astera, LightGear and Light Panels. For a Midwest shoot we can send the kit or source locally, whichever serves the budget better.
