3-Ton Grip Truck Rental

Our largest truck, and the one that turns up when a job has to be properly lit.

Rate: $750 per day. Daily, flat or a three-day week – out Friday and back Monday bills as a single day.

A three-ton is what you send when the build is real – a night exterior, a lit interior across several rooms, or a multi-day job where the rigging stays up. It carries enough that the gaffer is not rationing, and enough spare that a broken stand or a blown globe is not a problem.

What it carries

The full grip and electric complement – stands from baby to combo, flags, nets, frames and silks, rigging hardware, distro, and cable in quantity. Exact contents are built to the job rather than fixed, so tell us the lighting order and we will load to it.

When it is the right truck

Night exteriors, multi-room interiors, anything with overhead rigging, and any day where a second unit is drawing off the same truck. If you are running HMIs or a large LED build, this is the truck.

Power

Pairs with the tow-plant generator when the location has no usable supply, or with the 7000-watt Honda for draws a house circuit can carry. Power is the thing most location days under-plan, so give us the address and the lighting order together.

Availability, rates and delivery

Trucks book daily, flat, or as a three-day week, and anything out Friday and back Monday bills as a single day. The truck can arrive with a grip and electric crew or go out on its own. Renters need production rental insurance, and auto liability as well – a vehicle is going out with the order. Out-of-state work is quoted separately.
