2-Ton Grip Truck Rental

The middle truck, and the one most jobs actually want.

Rate: $700 per day. Daily, flat or a three-day week – out Friday and back Monday bills as a single day.

A two-ton is the honest default for South Florida work. Enough grip and electric for a lit interior or a controlled exterior, in a vehicle that still fits where you need to put it – which matters more here than most places, because half the locations worth shooting have nowhere to park a bigger truck.

What it carries

Stands, flags, frames and silks, rigging hardware, distro and cable – a working package rather than a token one. Loaded to the lighting order, so the contents follow the job.

When it is the right truck

Commercials and brand work on a normal schedule, interviews and corporate builds, hospitality and marine days, and most single-unit shoots. If you are unsure between this and the three-ton, tell us the lighting order and we will say which one you actually need.

Power

Works with the 7000-watt or 3000-watt Honda generators for location days, or straight off house power where the circuits allow. The tow-plant is available if the draw is bigger than the truck.

Availability, rates and delivery

Trucks book daily, flat, or as a three-day week, and anything out Friday and back Monday bills as a single day. The truck can arrive with a grip and electric crew or go out on its own. Renters need production rental insurance, and auto liability as well – a vehicle is going out with the order. Out-of-state work is quoted separately.
